inKeith Piper was the head football coach at Denison University from 1954-1992. He ran the single wing offense for 18 of those years with great success at Denison, a small NCAA Division III liberal arts college located in the rolling hills of central Ohio. His teams won 200 times, against 142 losses and 19 ties. Piper, who passed away in 1997, was a single wing center at Niles McKinley High School (OH) and Baldwin-Wallace College. He started a book about single wing football in 1979.
David, one of Keith’s sons has finished it.
